In her own words, Betty Broderick tells the harrowing tale of her marriage to Dan Broderick, a prominent San Diego attorney, and the events that led to her infamous double murder trial. This gripping account provides a raw and unfiltered perspective on a case that shocked the nation.

Betty Broderick's story is one of love, betrayal, and ultimately, murder. She met Dan Broderick in the early 1960s, and they married in 1969. The couple had four children together. However, their marriage was troubled from the start. Dan was a successful attorney, but he was also a workaholic and a philanderer.

In 1985, Dan filed for divorce from Betty. He had been having an affair with his legal assistant, Linda Kolkena, and he wanted to marry her. Betty was devastated by the divorce, and she began to stalk Dan and Linda. She also made numerous threats against them.

On November 5, 1989, Betty drove to Dan's house and shot him and Linda to death. She was arrested and charged with two counts of murder. Betty was convicted of both murders and sentenced to 32 years to life in prison.

In her book, Betty Broderick tells her side of the story. She claims that she was the victim of domestic violence and that she killed Dan and Linda in self-defense. She also alleges that the trial was unfair and that she was railroaded by the prosecution.

Betty Broderick's book is a fascinating and disturbing account of a crime that shocked the nation. It is a must-read for anyone interested in true crime, domestic violence, or the American justice system.
